Make a Gift

Your gift will not only honor a woman who has illuminated your life, but also ensure that her story is part of this vibrant, public recognition of women’s contributions to culture and society.

In return for your tax-deductible contribution, you will receive a beautifully designed certificate acknowledging your heroine and your gift.

To make a gift, you may download a Pledge form  and an Honoring Opportunities form and mail it to us at the address indicated on the form; or

If you prefer to give online, you may do so at the Portland State University Foundation website:

1. Visit the secure online donation site (link opens in new window)
2. Enter the amount you wish to contribute then proceed to"Step 2."
3. Enter your personal/contact information and then proceed to"Step 3."
4. Please enter all relevant information. Most importantly, enter the name of the heroine that you wish to sponsor in the "Comments/Suggestions/In Honor Of" field. (It is the last field in the form.)
5. Click the "MAKE MY GIFT" button.
   You can also send an email to heroines@pdx.edu to notify us of your online donation and provide us with any additional information you think we may need.
6. We will contact you regarding a biography and photograph of the heroine you have honored.
